YOGA SCHEDULE 2012

New! Free Practice Time in our Studio: Our students are welcome to come to the studio to practice yoga on alternate Sundays from 12 noon to 2 pm. No instruction will be offered but you may use the studio props and do your own practice. One of our teachers will be present doing her/his own practice too. Join us on February 12, February 26, March 11, March 25, April 8 and April 22.

Class Descriptions

All Levels Classes are designed to include students working at either Level I or Level II
Level I Classes introduce the foundational poses and prepare students for the inverted postures such as shoulderstand and headstand.
Level II Classes include inverted poses and backbends as well as pranayama which is working with the breath.
Level III Junior Intermediate I asana - advanced poses which are built on a strong Level II practice.
Restorative Designed to work slowly and with support into Level I poses to nourish the nervous system and balance body and breath.
55+ Iyengar yoga can be adapted for all ages and fitness levels, and creates strength, increased range of movement and stability.
Cancer Recovery Yoga and meditation for those in cancer treatment or post treatment for cancer. Richard Cabell leads meditation and Kelly leads yoga asanas in the restorative mode.
Flow Yoga A vigorous yoga class for those who like to keep moving in their practice.
Chair Yoga A yoga class for those with mobility issues.
