2013 YOGA SCHEDULE

5 Day Urban Retreat! June 24-28: 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. daily ~ yoga asana (pose work) and pranayama ( breath work) to strengthen and soothe. Space is limited. Registration is $55.00 for the week paid in advance to Kelly. Note that the regular 6:30 Tuesday and Thursday early morning classes will be pre-empted June 25 & 27 for this retreat.

Free Practice Time in our Studio: Our students are welcome to come to the studio to practice yoga on alternate Sundays. No instruction will be offered but you may use the studio props and do your own practice. One of our teachers will be present doing her/his own practice too. Join us May 19 and June 2 from 10 am -12.

Class Descriptions

All Levels Classes are designed to include students working at either Level I or Level II
Level I Classes introduce the foundational poses and prepare students for the inverted postures such as shoulderstand and headstand.
Level II Classes include inverted poses and backbends as well as pranayama which is working with the breath.
Level III Junior Intermediate I asana - advanced poses which are built on a strong Level II practice.
Restorative Designed to work slowly and with support into Level I poses to nourish the nervous system and balance body and breath.
55+ Iyengar yoga can be adapted for all ages and fitness levels, and creates strength, increased range of movement and stability.
Cancer Recovery Yoga and meditation for anyone who has ever had cancer.
Pranayama Pranayama as an inner body/mind/breath awakening. Ongoing for those with one year of Iyengar Yoga.
Yoga Lab For students who are new to Iyengar yoga. Taught by Iyengar yoga teachers-in-training. Half-price.
